And so many of us are waking up to a real blast of winter.

Take a look at the snow in Buffalo this morning.

They had to push the bill's wild card game to this afternoon and for so

many it's not the snow but it's the bitter cold and that weather very much a factory in

Iowa ahead of tonight's caucus is the first contest the 2024 presidential campaign. No voting by mail there so all

Republican voters will have to brave the cold to cast their ballots. Donald Trump

has a commanding lead in the polls right now, Nicky Haley and Ron Descentes

appear to be fighting for second. We're going to dig into the numbers.

What to look for is the returns come in.

Rachel Scott starts off our team coverage in Des Moines where the windshield is minus 28 right now.

Good morning, Rachel. George, good morning to you and this is the first major test of the Republican primary and is expected

to be the coldest Iowa caucus on record.

Winsills are expected to dip as low as negative 32 degrees today.

So the challenge for these Republican candidates will be getting all of their supporters

through all of this

high school cafeteria.

With the Caucasus now just hours away,

a confident Donald Trump swooping into Fridget Iowa urging his supporters to turn out.
