Well, hey you, it's Jennifer and this is Monday Fire episode number 97 if you're watching this on YouTube.

Yes, I am wearing like a tritoneck. It is April 20th when I am recording this and we are in the middle of a snowstorm in Kansas City, which is wild, which is wild.

And so, so yes, I look like I'm freezing. I am. I really am. Blanket on my lap and everything, but I'm excited to do this podcast today because I just had this thought this week.

You follow me on Instagram. You know, I asked on Instagram stories if anybody would be interested in me doing a short podcast on my Monday morning prayer group for business owners that I host and that I'm thinking, you know what?

We need a whole bunch of people out in the world. If they're in business and they love Jesus starting their own little prayer pods. We need prayer pods across America. We do.

And, and so I wanted to kind of tell you about the group that I started, why I started it, what our group looks like every week and how you could start your own.

And I believe, you know, it's all my heart that the one of the most powerful things that you can do for your business is to pray for your business, to pray for strategy for heaven, to pray, you know, for a hedge of protection, to pray for wisdom. I mean, there's a million things you could be praying for in your business.

This is how the whole thing came about. I've had this prayer group now for almost two years. So I was two years ago.

I was interviewing Sean cannell do know who Sean cannell and Heather Torres are they are undoubtedly the leading people teaching others how to use YouTube to build a business, how to monetize YouTube, how to build your YouTube, et cetera, et cetera.

So Sean cannell and Heather Torres, they're brilliant people. So I was interviewing Sean for my podcast and he just happened to like casually mention that he prays on Monday mornings with a bunch of men who are in the online space who, you know, have businesses about the same size who are doing, you know, six, seven, eight, 27 figures a year, whatever, you know, their parameters are.

And when he said that, I was like, well, well, what, what do you mean you're in prayer group on Mondays, I want to be in a prayer group on Mondays, and I was just really forward. I was like, well, can girls doing your group because I want to pray with other entrepreneur's who are, you know, in the same like income range that I'm in and my heart was like, you know, beating fast and I was like, I want to be a part of this.

And so it's my understanding that Sean kind of went back to his prayer group and they had a discussion and and they came back with a really wise from heaven answer, which was Jen, we feel like we should, you know, continue keeping our group for only men because the thing is we're not just praying for businesses, we're praying for business and we're praying for family and personal things and the dynamics would just change.

And there may not be the same level of transparency and authenticity, but we're just going to keep it a guys group, but we think that you should start the chicks group.

The girls version of this and I was like, hmm, okay, let me ponder on that. So I pondered about 10 minutes and decided, you know what, this is really needed and and it's needed because not only, you know, the thing is we don't, we don't want to be like winning at work and losing at home.

Can I say that again, we don't want to be winning at work and losing at home.

And so the fact that they're praying about more than just like Lord explode my business.

I loved that, I loved that and so I did start a prayer group on Monday mornings for women who are in this seven figure a year range and I believe that there's like nine of us that get together every Monday and have been doing that.

For a year and a half and and I think that it is powerful because well for several reasons, number one, we pray at the same time on Mondays that the guys group does and I know the men's group is much, much larger than ours, by the way.
