This freedom convoy started as a protest against the vaccine mandate for truckers crossing

the U.S. and Canada border, but has evolved into a criticism of all public health mandates

and Justin Trudeau's government.

It's also persisting.

Today is day 10.

Organizers say they're peacefully protesting mandates that are destroying the foundation

of our businesses, industries, and livelihoods, and they won't leave until all COVID-19 restrictions

are gone.

They've even brought in portable saunas because, well, it's winter in Ottawa.

Rick say it's transitioned from peaceful protest to occupation of Ottawa.

GoFundMe has shut down the Freedom Convoys fundraiser and will be refunding $9 million

in donations, citing evidence from law enforcement that it's funding an unlawful activity.

GoFundMe originally planned to redirect the funds to other charities, but reversed

course after blowback from supporters.
