David was careful to tell people that he did not hide God's righteousness in his heart.

In other words, he didn't want to just have his own relationship with the Lord.

He wanted other people to know about the Lord with whom he had a relationship.

I wonder what's on the storage bin of your heart that needs to get out into public

so that people know

Wesley Chapel, Florida, and looking forward to today's podcast, we are almost there in our completion of the first book of Psalms in Psalm 40.

We are halfway through Psalm 40 and I want you to jump right in with me on verse number nine.

Yesterday we talked a little bit about the Lord and how verse 8 is so characteristic of the ministry of Jesus.

I delight to do thy will, O God.

And I think that's the heartbeat of every Christ follower.

I delight to do the will of God.

There's joy in serving Jesus.

And look at maybe some characteristics of somebody who is a,

somebody who delights to serve God. Verse a nine, I have preached to righteousness in the great congregation.

Lo, I have not refrained in my lips,

O Lord, thou knowest.

So when we have a delight to serve God,

when God's word and his law is the delight of our heart,
