Hey, friends, welcome to today's episode of Everyday Truth. I'm here in the backyard of my

son Joshua and my daughter-in-law, Rachel, and their beautiful children, Elia and Callum.

They're actually still with their parents on Christmas break, and Wanda and I are staying

down here for a few days, waiting for them to get back, but also enjoying our oldest son,

Nate, his family, and my parents and my brother.

So just kind of celebrating Christmas. Hope you're having a

good celebration yourself wherever you are. As you know, we are completing the first, what we call

the first book of Psalms. So Psalms, the larger book of Psalms, is divided into five books. And the first book is Psalm 1 through 41.

And today we're in Psalm 40, almost like we planned it this way.

So we have today, and then Monday and Tuesday, we'll finish out

2024, and then Wednesday, can't wait.

We're going to start a brand new book of the Bible, the book of Matthew. And how appropriate. The first book of the New Testament. So it's a good way just to get back in the Bible for people that maybe haven't been there. And I would encourage you to invite friends and others to just join, just get on in.
