It's good to be here. I hope that holiday procrastinator shoppers are welcomed here because I still got a few people to check off my list.

We're going to tell you where you can find the biggest discounts on those last minute gifts

and what you need to know about shipping deadlines. I'm going to be looking out for that one. Plus, we're following those two expanding strikes at Amazon and Starbucks hitting right before the holidays.

But we begin, Rachel, with the millions of people waking up this morning to bitter, cold temperatures.

In some parts, it's colder than it's been in two years.

Meteorologist Brittany Bell from our New York station, W.A.B.C. is here. It's colder here than it was in Minnesota over the weekend, which was a shock to me growing up in Minnesota.

Yeah, you had to hit snooze and extra time this morning.

You're really hard to get out of bed.

And you're right, Rebecca.

So looking at the temperature this morning, the lower 13 degrees, that's the coldest December temperature in two years. And it's not just here in New York City. Look at wind chills for spots east of the Mississippi. It feels like 13 below in Burlington, three in New York City, 23 in Raleigh and 25 degrees in Charleston. That cold also leading to a mixture of winter weather to snow and freezing rain. There are 13 states under winter weather alerts.

Let's time this out.

The snow really gets ramped up across Wisconsin and Michigan today right along the I-90 corridor.

That's where things could be icy, causing some travel delays.

That moves east right on top the I-95 corridor on Tuesday morning, right around rush hour,

even icy conditions for Washington, D.C.,

late Tuesday moving towards Boston. So just a really messy travel commute on Tuesday for Christmas Eve,
