Good morning. It is good to see you guys. Also ahead here. The latest on the flu, the CDC reporting cases on the rise. As many of us prepare to get together for the holidays, this morning, we're tracking the latest numbers. And what treatments are available if you do get sick. So that's very important. And that's coming up. Very important. Millions though are on the move with just three days to go until Christmas. Deadly storm striking the West. Impacting that holiday travel, Matt Rivers starts us off on the tarmac at LaGuardia Airport here in New York. A busy morning, Matt, good morning. No question about it. Good morning, Janay. And welcome to the tarmac here at LaGuardia. This American flight behind me there taken off for Dallas, Fort Worth on time a little bit later. That

flight over there, that another American flight going to Tampa later on today. One American

flight taking off every 10 minutes from LaGuardia today, joining tens of thousands of other flights nationwide.

This holiday season, guys, really ramping up at the moment, just as this severe weather impacting a lot of it.

Overnight, major flooding in the West, turning deadly after an atmospheric river dropped more than a half a foot of rainwater.

One person was killed in Reading, California.

Vehicles submerged across the region, prompting water rescues.

This driver pulled to safety after trying to make it through floodwaters.

Cars navigating the treacherous conditions, raging water, nearly reaching the windows.

I don't know if we're going to make it.

In Shasta County, California, this car not able to make it across the road.

Outside Portland over the weekend, the Clackamas River cresting at nearly 47 feet.

I've never seen anything like this.

I looked to my right and the river was just up to the road.

The severe weather impacting travel for holiday plans with just three days until Christmas.

It's stressful.

TSA checkpoints and packed lines snaking through terminals.

Officials expect nearly 53 million passengers between now and early January, close to 3 million per day.
