0:43.4 | We're in Psalm 33, and we have been in the Psalm for a couple days now, |

0:58.1 | all about why we ought to praise God, why we ought to fear God, why the word of God is so trustworthy. |
1:05.5 | Really, there are so many quotable verses in this Psalm. And we're here in verse number 16 where the Bible says, |
1:14.0 | there is no king saved by the multitude of an host. A mighty man is not delivered by much |
1:23.6 | strength. Now what an audacious claim the psalamos makes? There is no king saved by the multitude |
1:31.3 | of an host. So we look at world history and we look at battles and we look at armies and we look |
1:39.3 | at strategies and we think, wow, that king won because he had the bigger army. He had the better army. |
1:47.9 | And yet, what do we learn as we study world history? We learn, well, sometimes it's not the case. |
1:54.7 | Sometimes you've got the underdog that won. Sometimes the one with the bigger army lost, sometimes with the bigger army won. |
