It's Monday again. What's going on friends? Welcome to a new day. It starts right now.

It's 12 12 Monday December 12th 2022. Some celebrity celebrating birthdays today before we jump into the headlines. Myambiallic, Regina Hall, Jennifer Connelly, singer actress and Twitter superstar Dianne Warwick. She's 82 today.

And Bob Barker is 99 happy birthday y'all. And did you know today is green Monday? I wasn't really familiar with this.

It has nothing to do with the environment. It's it's about the amount of money. The green we will all spend online today.

The second Monday in December is always one of the biggest e-commerce days of the year. That's today.

That means we're going to get a million emails from every company you've ever shopped at again today. Yay!

Money. There's a hole in my pocket.

All right, we jump in. Let's go. We always start with the top story and this oil spill in Kansas was a big one all weekend.

The largest oil spill in the history of the Keystone pipeline. A ruptured pipe dumped about 14,000 barrels of oil or

588,000 gallons into a creek. That's nearly enough oil to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool to give you the visual.

Yikes. The spill has been contained. It's being cleaned up as best as it can be.

Investigators are trying to figure out what caused the spill. They're still not sure.

And apparently it stinks. Residents there are dealing with the smell among other things.

They are running around the clock air quality checks. And this is hard to believe.

But according to the county's emergency management director, there does not appear to be any wildlife deaths.

Officials are scheduled to receive a briefing this morning and they'll figure out when they can reopen.

The system past Keystone spills have caused outages that lasted about two weeks.

All right, okay, getting into some sports headlines here. The World Cup still dominating.

And the major headline out of the World Cup this weekend was the sudden and tragic passing

of soccer journalists Grant Wall. He collapsed in the press box while covering the Argentine

and Netherlands match on Friday. And shortly thereafter lost his life at the age of 49.

Grant really was the face of American soccer. This is so hard to believe.
