Now, let's join Kurt for today's episode. Welcome back, my friends, to today's episode of Everyday Truth. So glad you joined us for the, well, I guess it's the last episode about Abraham

because we're going to talk about his funeral today, and kind of

sad, honestly, we've been following Abraham for the last few weeks and talking about this great

man of faith. We've entitled this series, promises made, promises kept. And the great thing about

Abraham's life is that he was the recipient of

some unbelievable promises, and yet he believed them. He staggered not at the promise of God

through unbelief. He was strong in faith. And I think the lesson that we can learn from Abraham

is that if God says something,

it gives us word on something, then it is ours to act in faith. And that's not a misnomer.

Because faith will always demonstrate itself in action. True faith will. And we find that

over and over again in Abraham's life. In chapter 25,
