It's first thing with Kevin Mano. A real quick look at all the headlines and there's a lot today.

So let's get going. the show starts right now and we always start with the top

story hurricane Ernesto is still out there ripping its way through the

Northeastern Atlantic it hit Bermuda over the weekend

leaving tens of thousands without power. The storm was downgraded to a tropical storm,

but then regained its hurricane status yesterday.

Even though it is pretty far out there, it's still having an effect on the East Coast at the U.S.

Life-threatening surf and rip currents will be expected over the next few days.

I saw a video of a beach house in North Carolina collapse on

account of Ernesto. Also a man reportedly drowned in a rip current at Surf City North

Carolina on Saturday. A warning has been extended all the way down from Florida up to the Boston area.

In the NFL there are a bunch of preseason games

over the weekend.

In one moment that's gotten a ton of attention

is a behind the back pass from Patrick Mahomes

to Travis Kelsey, reigning Super Bowl champs. Those guys guys anything they do is going to make news and

this really was cool I've got the clip up in our Instagram stories this morning if

you want to see it at first thing pod in baseball news not to just you, keep harping on this, but the Chicago White Sox have already

been eliminated from playoff contention.
