Today is Jay-Z and Beyonce's 14th wedding anniversary, happy anniversary guys. It's also Robert Downey, Jr.'s 57th birthday.

It would have been Heath Ledger's 43rd birthday, Rest in Peace, and an important day in history. It's the anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s assassination.

That was from his last speech the day before he died. Lots to recap this morning, including the latest on that Sacramento shooting and March Madness and the Grammys.

All sorts of stuff. But we start with the top stories. And again, today, that's Ukraine.

Actually, let's talk about the Grammys for a second. Ukrainian President Volotomyr Zelensky appeared on the show last night.

It was a pre-taped message that ran right before John Legend performed a new song called Free with some Ukrainian artists.

It was cool. He said, quote, our musicians wear body armor instead of tuxedos. They sing to the wounded in hospitals, even to those who can't hear them. But the music will break through.

I have that video message posted in our Instagram stories right now if you want to see it. Really the biggest thing this morning are all of the accusations of more war crimes committed by Russia.

I've seen so many religious horrific photos of bodies in the streets around the city of Kiev. According to sources, following the departure of Russian forces, the bodies of 410 civilians have been found in towns around the capital city.

According to the Washington Post, there are still 100,000 people trapped in the devastated city of Mariopol and evacuations will be attempted again today.

To sports, the biggest story of the weekend. March madness, of course, congrats to the South Carolina Gamecocks. They won the Women's Tournament last night. They beat Yukon quite comfortably, might I add.

64 to 49. It's their first national championships since 2017. The men's tournament wraps up tonight. I do have to pour one out from my homey coach K. He has coached his final game. North Carolina beat Duke on Saturday. That was the most watched men's final four game in five years.

It's set UNC against Kansas tonight. Charles Barkley, by the way, has guaranteed a Kansas win. If you trust him, put some money on him. The other big sports story of the weekend was former soccer player Hope Solo, World Cup champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist.

She was arrested in a Walmart parking lot, passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle with her two-year-old twins inside. She was charged with driving impaired, resisting a public officer and misdemeanor child abuse. She posted a message on social media saying that she will be able to share the facts in due time.

She said, quote, our kids are strong, intelligent, happy, and vibrant. And we are present every day giving them the best life possible. I have her message reposted in our Instagram stories right now if you want to read that. At first thing pod on Instagram.

Okay, moving on to some entertainment headlines. Sadly, I report on the passing of Estelle Harris. She died at the age of 93, known for a million things, but probably best known for playing George's mom Estelle Castanza on Seinfeld. She was so great. Lots of love and touching tributes for her online since that news broke late Saturday night.

Just a few updates on Will and the slap. You probably heard that he resigned from the Academy. The question now is, what will the Academy do about this? They have a hearing scheduled for April 18th to determine if he gets to keep his Oscar.

And what other consequences may come companies like Netflix and Sony are putting upcoming Will Smith projects on hold that includes bad boys for.
