Happy birthday folks and in music history on this date in 1989 Massachusetts

declared April 24th as new kids on the block day hometown boys out there

Okay, all right here we go jumping in with the top story as always

I mentioned last week that things were getting very violent in Sudan

Since this fighting broke out back on the 15th so not long ago to port it nearly 300 innocent civilians have lost their lives

There are basically two factions fighting for power over there

Now yesterday US special forces were able to successfully evacuate all employees of the US Embassy in Sudan

Three helicopters filled with troops were able to quickly swoop in and airlift roughly 70 people out of the war zone

It's estimated that there are still thousands I read like 16,000 private American citizens still living in the country

While it's not possible to help get them out right now

They've been urged to shelter in place. Hopefully the violence and soon

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, there's some sports headlines now the playoff sir in full swing

But the NBA and the NHL and so far between both leagues the only team to advance beyond round one the Philadelphia 76ers
