Colorado authorities have filed charges against the 22-year-old suspect who allegedly killed

five people and wounded several others in a shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs

over the weekend.

The suspect faces five counts of first-degree murder and five counts of a bias-motivated

crime that caused bodily harm.

President Biden celebrated his 80th birthday on Sunday, becoming the first president to

reach that milestone while serving in office.

The occasion comes as questions circle about Biden mounting another presidential bid,

and whether he's too old to serve another term.

Outgoing Speaker of the House and 82-year-old Nancy Pelosi recently voiced her support of

the president's potential re-election bid.
