My fear is bad decisions from referees will affect Celtic and Rangers and unfairly influenced the outcome of this title race.

But it is lazy thinking to think that Kevin Clancy cost Celtic two points against Hibbs on Saturday.

The referee was atrocious.

But Celtic fell beneath their own very high standards. And the two points they dropped gave Rangers an extra shot of adrenaline against a depleted and demoralised Aberdeen not that Stephen Gerrard's side needed any extra stimulation.
