We look back on a big weekend across Scottish football

The gap at the top stays the same after Celtic leave it late to see off Motherwell.

Rangers had stretched it temporarily with that 5-0 win against Hartz,

and there were big wins for the likes of Ross County, St. Marin Hebs and Colmarnock

with another set of midweek fixtures just around the corner.

I'm Gordon Duncan and joining me tonight you have Andy Halliday and Hugh Keevins.

Chilling and thrilling. That's how I describe the weekend action involving Rangers and Celtic.

Chilling, I think, the word to describe the way in which Rangers dismantled hearts who had gone

to Ibrooks with eight wins in a row behind them. They don't half miss Andy Halliday in that team.

It was 5-0, could easily have been 7 or 8-0. Meanwhile, at Fair Park, thrilling in the way that Celtic came back.

They were booed off the field at half-time. After 90 minutes, it was 1-1, and they were in of being four points behind rangers at the top of the table but

they rallied they scored those late goals that are characteristic of their season and they fight another day but for me in general terms

one team at the top is going from strength to strength and the other team

is hanging on by their fingertips in the title race. I'll let you work out who's who.

Rangers 5 point lead at the top of the table lasted in less than 24 hours when Celtic

unfortunately sunk the mighty well in the 94th minute plus a weekend for plenty of news

...
