So I want to be very direct if you are the parent of a toddler, of a little one.

You are going to struggle with this child if they are strong-willed.

The schools are going to struggle.

You are going to get a call from the preschool talking

about your strong-willed child because they're not following directions, they're not

participating in class, they won't do circle time well. It's going to happen. it's going to happen and there's nothing wrong

with it and I want you to know a couple things you didn't do anything wrong it's not your

fault and your child's most likely not doing anything wrong either.

And I want to give you some perspective on this.

We work with almost a million families.

I've worked with a lot of these kids. I'm doing this late on a Friday afternoon

for this reason. I'm getting inundated with emails, with calls about three-year-olds, and five-year-olds,

and seven-year-olds. And I want to set your heart at ease in some ways and I'm going to

challenge you in other ways right but if you'll bear with me I made some notes but I may jump

around a little bit but I wanted to get this out there as quickly as I could.
