And today on the program, two stories about mothers and daughters.

But these are not the heartwarming Hallmark

home-cooked meal kind of mother stories,

because maybe the fondest memories of your mother

involve a secret sneak out and a run-in with the cops.

And sometimes you never really know your mom

until you've heard about the date she once took

with that seemingly normal guy in the Bee-G's outfit

and a human-sized freezer.

You could hardly open the front door because he had a chest freezer in there

and it was really huge.

An immense freezer never saw anything like that and it was the perfect size for a body.

This is an episode about those kind of mothers, Mom's Gone Wild, on this episode of Unfictional.

It's awkward to hear stories about your parents as young people before you were born.

It's just uncomfortable to imagine your mother is an available young woman hanging out in bars

And that's just what producer Joanna Solitarov thought when her mother told her a story about the worst date she ever had

It was awkward, embarrassing, and a little

icky. But if a mother can tell her daughter a story as weird as this one, she can tell

her anything. I should mention, by the way, that while this story doesn't exactly have anything explicit in it,
