But before we get to that, I've been struggling to articulate my thoughts on what is happening

in Israel. I've been trying to write like three or four hundred words and it just, I think part of the problem is that I know a lot because

I did live there and I actually lived and worked in Gaza as well. And so I think a lot of people,

well-intentioned people, I think have oversimplified the situation. And then likewise, I think of a lot of people with

bad intentions have also oversimplified for their own purposes. Yeah, I agree. I think,

so I did not live there, but I have been in the region. And I think that it's a lot more nuanced and complex. And I think that's the

issue is I think sometimes when problems seem really big and that this feels really big,

we try to find the simplest answer and we try to find a way to just understand the world and what's happening
