recognize that it's it's kind of hard to discuss what's happening in the world in a way that allows you to maintain your joy, especially if you're not intentional about the emotions that you are entertaining at any given sense of time. So we have a ritual on this show because Black Talklandia will work you hard. I'm in a happy go lucky mood today, but usually I'd be on a show like, y'all, let me tell you what else happened. We want to make sure that as we're approaching the news and as we're engaging in analysis, we're doing so in a way that allows us to be as empowered as possible. So we have a ritual on this show. It's called a moment of gratitude. And it is a ritual that reminds us that we have the opportunity to choose the emotions that we entertain. And as we're considering the state of the world, it's important that we entertain emotions like joy and gratitude and appreciation. Because when we do that, we cannot be trapped by fear, loneliness, and depression. So we have a whole ritual to help us get into the right energetic. And that ritual is very simple. It is so simple, in fact, it goes a little something like this In just a minute, you're going to hear music. The music's going to be sung to you by a group known as the beautiful chorus, and it is an invitation, this song to join the rest of us, because when we hear it, we are going to collectively begin taking the slowest, deepest, most lung capacity, expanding, joyful heart, invigorating, troubled mind, cleansing, weary, so uplifting, we are going to take the most amazingly juicy breath.

Sankofa Connectors. We have had a time. Y'all have seen a lot of me in Sancova Connections. I've been going live as many times as I could in that space. And what I love about that is that I'm able to sometimes take those, I mean at any time can take those lives and share them more broadly. And so I had actually posted a video this morning of my comments at the African Union last night, which we're going to hear later on today. But I did that in Sankofa Connections. I did that live and was able to engage and build with the people in that space. And so I've really been so grateful for how all of you in that space are holding space for me to continue to build that out. And I just want to let you know how appreciative I am.

Because I'm in such an amazingly good mood, I have woke, I sometimes wake up with a song in my heart, song and my spirit, not one that I made up this time, because y'all know I am good for making up a little jingle. But this song is a song that, frankly, before I knew who the singers of the song were, the song had touched me so much and it was
