Here we do Black Talklandia work.

And that means we deal with the difficult issues of race, gender, culture,

identity, politics, and the law.

And we have those conversations every single day.

Because doing so, sitting in the difficulty of those discussions,

helps us learn how to be better people,

who learn how to build better communities.

And then as a result, we are able to shape a better world.

And for us, that is how talk empowers and becomes action.

Now, admittedly, that work is not easy.

So we have a ritual on this show to help us approach it with the best of attitudes and intentions.

And that's really important because, frankly, Black Talk Landia work is hard. And then when you just add the fact that we are

living life as human beings on this planet, it can be even more challenging. So the ritual that we

use to help us get into a spirit of joy, gratitude, and appreciation. And those emotions are

important because when we are rooted in those emotions, we cannot be trapped by fear, gratitude, and appreciation. And those emotions are important because when we are rooted

in those emotions, we cannot be trapped by fear, loneliness, and depression. The ritual is called
