and appreciation. And we do this not only because they feel good, but we have learned both from

lived experience and the science has confirmed that when we are rooted, enjoy gratitude and

appreciation, we cannot also be trapped by fear, loneliness, and depression, which is pretty

important stuff when you are trying to do the work of being a better person, who learns

how to build better communities, and as a result, then being able to shape a better world. So this ritual is fairly
