And because of that, because this show is typically, that's our bag, like we sit in that space of heavy content, heavy conversation.

We have a ritual on this show called A Moment of gratitude. And that ritual is designed to allow

us to, as opposed to being depressed by the news or overwhelmed by the news, it allows us to,

before we address the news, tap into a set of joy, gratitude, and appreciation emotions. And the

reason we gravitate towards those emotions is because we have learned both from

lived experience and the science that when we are rooted in joy, gratitude, and appreciation,

we cannot also be trapped by fear, loneliness, and depression.

And that really does matter.

So the ritual is called a moment of gratitude.
