We're actually taking the audio from an Instagram live that I did last October with my friend,

Brittany Turner.

And so we have to trust that God is going to be God in our kids lives, that He's going

to ask us to take some responsibility.

He's going to ask us to do some important things in sturdying and loving them and directing

them, but that at the end of the day, we have to kind of surrender that.

Brittany has come on the show before episode 277, which we've linked to in the show notes.

Since even this recording that we did in the fall, she's had her fourth kiddo.

What I appreciate from Brittany is her views or theological views as a seminary grad

and being in the mom little years.

I think she provides a great perspective on the content I share with y'all.

She's one of my go-to fake board of directors when I'm thinking through topics.

And in this episode, the reason we wanted to publish it on the podcast is, okay, so last

week, Mary Van Geffen, she's been on the show before.

She's a parent coach to spicy kids if you're needing help.

I put her links in the show notes, but she shared an article she'd found from the New

York Times entitled Harsh Realm of Gentle Parenting.
