I am joined by my good friend, Lahav Harcav, who I think I've known for like, I don't know,

15 years or so now, maybe, right?

She's a senior political correspondent for Jewish insider and somehow still writing and doing all the things despite the fact that she lives in Israel and is single momming three children right now. And so I wanted to

have a conversation with the Hav today about what it's like to be a mom in Israel now and what this

juggle looks like because I am in awe of all of my Israeli mom friends and wanted to sort of

give my audience a taste of what it's like parenting

through war, which is, this is what, your third, fourth time doing this?

I mean, I guess it depends how you define war, but the fact that I even have to think about it,

well, is that a war or is not just, you know, a few days is not great. It's, you know, it's challenging.

Yeah.

So first of all, why are you single momming it?

Okay.

So my husband, um, he did, you know, the mandatory IDF service when he was 18 years old.

And, um, he was a combat soldier and he did reserve duty every year but usually

it was two three weeks out of the year and we knew in advance and whatever but then when there's a war

...
