Our case today is an amazing story of survival. Can you imagine being shot seven times

and left for dead by the man you once loved? And the only reason that this woman survived is because of a little bit of

karmic justice. One of the bullets meant for her ricocheted and took the man's eye out. He called 911 to save himself and in

doing so he saved her. This is the story of Tina Davis, a Georgia woman who survived a vicious attack at the hands of her

estranged husband Ronnie Goss. And like so many tragic domestic violence cases, this one too

starts with what seemed to be love.

Tina says from a young age she was sweet on Ronnie. So where are you in your life

Tina when you meet Ronnie?

Oh, we met when I was 14 and he was 17.

Yeah, so he used to play ball with my brother-in-law.

And he used to call me.

I wasn't old enough to date, but he would call me

and we would meet at the skating rink and hang out

and stuff like that.

And then when I turned 15 and got old enough to date he turned 18 and joined the military and he went away and he was in the military.

He did four years and then when he came home from the military I was married and then he got married and we just went

our separate ways and we I had divorced my boy's dad and we ran into each other at the gym where I was teaching fitness classes and he
