Summary

EP573. In today’s solo episode of The Mom Room, I’m covering A LOT, from puppy yoga with Pomeranians to why the hell there are Stranger Things toys in the Walmart kids’ aisle. We also talk comfort shows, current reads, and I give a sneak peek at an upcoming episode on ADHD, perimenopause, and my experience with Vyvanse.

✨ What I talk about in this episode:

• My chaotic and adorable experience doing puppy yoga with Pomeranians

• Why going from two dogs to three dogs can’t be that different (…right??)

• The moment we realized Stranger Things is NOT for kids after trying to watch it with Milo

• Why I’m fully obsessed with Younger on Netflix, aka my current comfort show

• A quick book update: I just finished Parents Weekend and started Great Big Beautiful Life

• A preview of next week’s deep dive into ADHD + perimenopause symptoms, the overlap, and my personal experience with Vyvanse

🎧 If you love real, relatable mom-life conversations mixed with pop culture, parenting chaos, and midlife revelations, you’re in the right place.

Welcome to the mom room. I am recording this on Tuesday. I don't know why I always feel like I need to tell you guys when I'm recording this.

Anyways, I'm starving. I haven't eaten breakfast yet. But Ariana is going to be on breakfast television.

So she asked to come over to watch her segment at 920. So I was like, okay, let's just get this

episode recorded before she comes over. It's also a very busy week. We're in Toronto two days in a row,

0:30.4

which it doesn't sound like a big deal. Like, okay, you're going to Toronto, big deal. But it takes up

0:35.2

the whole day. And it just, I have realized that I am such a home

0:39.9

body. Like, I want to be having dinner at home, snuggling with Milo before he goes to bed, putting him to

0:49.3

bed, watching my shows in my bed with my weighted heating pad and my humidifier and my freaking sound machine,

0:57.2

like my big, poofy, silky eye mask. Like that is living the dream to me. Okay. But I understand my work

1:05.4

comes with, you know, events and things like that. And sometimes you have to go to Toronto.

1:10.0

Anywho, let me tell you

1:11.7

guys about my experience with Pomeranian yoga. A while back, Ariana's sister sent me this post on

1:19.7

Instagram. And it was puppy yoga, but only with Pomeranians. And at first, I thought she just came

1:26.1

across it and sent it to me because, like, I love

1:28.8

Pomeranians. I thought it was going to be a class in, like, California or something. No,

1:34.1

it was like a half hour from where we live. So I commented on, like, I got in touch with,

1:41.0

obviously, the person that runs it. It's called purely pause yoga.

1:45.2

And what they do is work with breeders and rent out this yoga studio and the breeders will bring the puppies that are available for adoption.

1:54.0

So every time there's a yoga class, it's with a specific breed. And I was like, you can't make this up.

2:00.7

Like this is my dream. I am obsessed with

2:04.1

Pomeranians. So was my husband. Like, we look at Pomeranians all the time. My favorite content
