I've sort of shot the bed on recording podcast episodes over the last few weeks because my

life has been in crazy. Like my kids have been sick for two fucking months and I've been sick

a couple times in there and there was spring break and I feel like I'm just getting my

feet back on the ground here so thanks for hanging around and being back but so here we are this week to do finally an episode that I've been promising to do that has been highly requested.

I'm not a fucking expert, but I do know how to talk a lot. So here goes nothing.

We'll just jump right into it. I guess it just helps to talk it out. I was thinking about starting

with just a little bit of my background in terms of becoming a mom and making mom friends. So when I was pregnant with my oldest,

we moved out of the city, out of New York City to the suburbs when I was like six or six months

pregnant or so. And so I had this like, you know, left the city and was commuting back and forth to my job still there

and was kind of like, what the hell am I doing in the suburbs right now? Like there's nothing for me

to do out here. Like I'm spending my whole days in the city. I'm still pregnant and I don't have a

kid yet. And that was a, that was definitely a time of major isolation for me and kind of a
