Joining me today, we have our Liverpool correspondent, both home and away, Paul Gors, who was there at Ellen Road on Saturday, who spoke to Mohammed Sala in the mix zone, where he gave those bombshell comments about his Liverpool future, saying he might have played, or he might play his last game for the club next weekend against Brighton. He feels he's been thrown under the bus by the club after being left on the bench for a third game and his relationship with Arnisslot has broken down completely. But I'm not the best person to tell you what Mahamas Sala said or everything that's happened at Ellen Road. That's Paul Gorsi. It was quite the weekend for you.

It's not something you'd have imagined happening, especially with Mo Sala, considering he very

rarely speaks to the English media. Has it all sunk in yet? No, I mean, it's going to be a story

that's going to rage for days, isn't it? It was genuinely extraordinary. That's the second time

I've spoken to Mohamed Salon and a the mix zone and each time he has you know

suffice at the woods with his comments you know there was the famous more out than in last season but

yeah I mean it was already stressful enough covering the three-old drawers as I'm sure you're aware but

when um when the the game finished the few of us are heading to the mix zone, and we've just got a little bit of an inkling

that Mo might have something to get off his chest.

And as he came past, about 10 or 15 minutes later, I asked him, Mo, if he got two minutes, as I do most games. And normally you get a bit of a, it's a bit of a run and joke where he says, no, and he walks on with the swallows face and everyone just accepts that, you know, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

But he said something about needing a shower and said he'd be back. You know, we said, I'm just going to get a shower, and I'll be back soon. And I wasn't sure that he was being sarcastic because he hadn't laid in the game. I thought it was a bit of a dig to say, well, you know, why would didn't need to shower because he hasn't kicked the ball. But, you know, we decided to hold our nerve, myself and a few colleagues who were there and not ask anyone else. So Alexander Isaac walked past and Andy Robertson, I think, one or two others. But we kept our council and lo and behold, Mova majors, about 15 minutes or so later, in a different training kit.

So we clearly had had a quick shower and come back out.

And yeah, what followed was genuinely extraordinary, you know, a genuine bombshell.

might find it selfish or, you know, unnecessary, and, you know, he's absolutely thinking

about himself at a time when the team are really struggling. But from a journalist's perspective for the likes of us, it was incredible.

You know, gobsmacking to hear him speak with such honesty, such a wounded pride and, you know,

talking about his relationship with Arnold Slots, having broken down, being thrown under the bus.

And when he used that phrase, you know, my jaw just dropped.
