Hometown Ghost Stories cover a different haunted town every week on their show. Occasionally, they even travel to some of the world's

most haunted locations to investigate. They're part documentary, part open discussion, where they

are known to bring the chills and the laughs. The group launched the show after having a lifelong

interest in the paranormal and experiencing hauntings of their own, and I can't wait to chat with them

Okay, I was doing my deep dive into your guys' podcast and everything. And before I even like talk

about how you guys got here and what you do and all that stuff, I saw a show you guys did on Modesto, California. And I am from,

I'm not from Modesto, but I'm from pretty close to Modesto. And I have to know what's going on there.

It was a while ago that we covered that episode. So I do remember there was one specific case that

caught my mind that I read in a book of this. It was written by a detective

who went all across the country and to different towns and just had weird experiences with

paranormal things. And this one in Modesto, it was one case in Modesto that she had that was a,

it was a murder of a woman and the boy, I don't remember.

That episode was a while back.

The weird thing about Modesto is it's one of our more popular episodes, especially on YouTube.

Like, people still comment on that one to this day. So it really hit a nerve with the people of Modesto that they liked it. Not hit a nerve. I'm hitting a nerve's bad. But they seem to enjoy the hauntings. I know there was a train station. I think that's the one you're talking about, Dave, where they were at the train station. And the little boy saw the, that was a different haunting, but the one that was, it was something where a woman was

murdered.

And then I think the people who lived in the house later, their little boy kept seeing her ghost.

And then he saw a picture of the woman on a newspaper and he said, that's the, that's the lady. And it happened to be the lady that was murdered in the house before them. Something along those lines. It was about two and a half years ago that we covered this. Really? That's so funny. When I brought up your guys a site, it's like the first one that pops up. Oh, no kidding. That's funny. I wonder if it just associates your area with a location that we covered or something.
