1:31.3	healing schools. In fact, did you know in this report the goal of J.D. Rockefeller was to put
1:36.9	chiropractic, homeopathy, naturopathy, and herbalism completely out of business.
1:47.7	He actually wanted to ban them completely and make them illegal.
1:52.5	In fact, did you know that there were chiropractors and naturopaths who went to jail because some of the laws that J.D. Rockefeller were trying to pass.
1:56.3	The goal of the Flexner report, and by the way, you know, I'm going to dive into this

2:04.7	about. But basically the goal was this. It was to make people that were nutritionists,
2:10.4	that were chiropractors, that were herbalists, people that practice natural medicine,
2:14.5	to make them seem unscientific. And he pressured licensing boards
2:20.1	to only approve what he called scientific schools focused on drug-based treatment. Because J.D.
2:26.8	Rockefeller could only benefit financially from synthetic pharmaceutical drugs. And he couldn't benefit from somebody prescribing turmeric or lavender or or homeopathic
2:41.1	treatments or chiropractic treatments.
2:42.3	He couldn't benefit from that.
2:43.6	So this turned mainstream medicine into a drug-first symptom-focused system and really marginalized natural healing therapies and doctors
