Summary

Don't dismiss me as an old fart because Im going to tell you how technology; the internet, mobile phones and the rest have failed us. They were meant to help us have easier lives and make us communicate more in the modern world.

However, we are talking less. They were meant to bring us together but instead they have divided us. We have lost the ties that bind us and as a result society is going to hell in a handcart or probably on the back of a drone.

Our country has never been more divided and more angry. Whole communities have lost their sense of identity. Factories have been closed and replaced with supermarkets and housing estates. Pubs are closing left right and centre aided and abetted by the smoking ban and now Starmer's mad bad idea to ban drinking in pub gardens.

Churches abandoned pubs and clubs shut we have lost the ties that use to bind us.

We are living divided lives.
