Hey everybody Rob and Rob now we're here with what should be a pretty quick Friday episode to close out a busy week

We just have a couple of quick

topics to go through one on model Y, one on giga Texas, but if you are looking

did go on another podcast today for about 45 minutes to an hour for a long discussion on Tesla

So keep an eye out for that. I'll post about that on Twitter at Tesla Podcast when that is published

Pretty strong environment for stocks on the day.

The Nasdak finished up 2.3%.

Tesla following suit, finishing up 5% to $407.34.

So for the week of Battery Day since last Friday's close, Tesla finished down about 8%.

All right, we'll start off here with Gigatexis.

The Texan publication, Statesman, is reporting that Tesla has expanded their footprint for Gigatexis, recently adding

381 acres adjacent to the 2,100 acres they already had for the Gigatexis site.

Statesman writes,

Local developer Carl Koble, a principal with Marketplace Real Estate Group, said Tesla's newly

purchased 381 acres, which are along Gilbert Road and just northeast of its 2,100

acre site, give Tesla not only more land but additional

access to its property since Gilbert Road intersects with FM 969."

I'm happy to see Tesla acquire as much land as they can in this location. I think this is going to continue to look like a better and better move over time.

Austin continues to grow, continues to bring in more tech-based businesses, and particularly for this area of Austin to the east,

statesman again quotes Koble as saying that developers have taken to calling this area,

quote, the new tech corridor in Austin, end quote.
