Hello and welcome to the Tuesday June 26th 2018 edition of Tesla Daily on

official Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Maower. Today we've got a

handful of smaller news topics to cover.

Tesla stock on Monday finished down 0.19% to $333.1.1% to $333.1.1%.

This was actually a really strong performance from Tesla on the day though.

The macro environment was extremely challenging with the NASDAQ down 2.09 percent,

New York Stock Exchange down 1.25% and the Dow down 1.33%.

The first topic for today is a new firmware release for model 3, 2018.24.1.

This release brings a whole host of new features to the model 3, including the long-awaited

Wi-Fi connectivity that Elon was surprised to find out was not actually already included in the

model 3.

Summon is now available as well another long

awaited feature. Similarly to model S and X the model three will now display vehicles

in adjacent lanes on the display and then then finally, speed limit mode

is now available as well.

This was a feature that we hadn't yet discussed

on the podcast.

This feature allows you to use a four-digit pin

to limit the maximum speed on your Tesla.

Oh, and one more thing, this release also brings cabin overheat

protection to the model three. This prevents the cabin from going above 105

degrees Fahrenheit or 40 degrees Celsius for 12 hours after you exit the
