0:00.0	Welcome in, this is the Lions 24-7 podcast. I'm Tyler Donahue, joined as always by Sean Fitz. We are into May April's behind us. It was a very busy month for Penn State football. Of course you followed our coverage here on the podcast and on lines 24-7 you're well aware the spring practices coming to an end the blue-white game
0:25.9	some transfer news the NFL draft and in all the excitement leading up to that six players picked
0:31.4	out of Penn State for a second straight year that is the most in a
0:35.2	two-year span since 9293 which which is a pretty startling fact that that came up
0:40.8	after the draft so you, a successful stretch here,

0:47.1	We saw the class double in size, up to 10 commitments right now
0:50.6	after getting five new players on board in the month of April, but now we turn our attention forward and we bring in Sean Fitz and
0:56.9	Sean I wanted to start off the show by congratulating the Penn State
1:00.4	players who have an opportunity to pursue their professional careers.
1:04.0	Some will make more money initially than others, but essentially they all have everything
1:08.2	they want ahead of them.
1:09.2	They have an opportunity to play in the NFL.
1:11.0	Yeah, and that's really what you can ask for of course six guys
1:14.2	drafted we we projected seven last week and it ended up that Nick Scott was the one
1:18.9	that you know sort of buck the trend he got drafted by the Rams late and Kevin Givens and Ryan Bates went undrafted.
1:25.8	So that's going to be a conversation probably for the next year about whether they made the right decision.
1:30.9	Never going to say anybody made a bad decision but that's one that
1:33.4	man you're you're thinking how much they can help Penn State this year and at the same time
1:38.1	you're thinking how much football they've played so I get the reasoning for going
1:41.6	but that's gonna be one that's worth discussing for a while.
