Summary

The Tennessee Titans can go multiple routes in the first round of the NFL Draft, but a trade back and landing Carnell Tate at wide receiver may be the best possible outcome the team could hope for with wide receiver being checked off as a need, but also with multiple Day 2 picks to add to the chest of assets. With that additional pick on Day 2, the Titans can afford to be a bit more risky with their picks which means attacking offensive line issues a year in advance. Adding offensive tackle and guard on Day 2 along with a speed edge is the perfect way to follow up the Tate pick. Finally, on Day 3, the Titans need to add players who can bring quality depth, but still be developed into potential starters down the road or at least, players who can fill a particular role on the team that isn't obviously filled.
