a mock draft edition on April 5th of the NFL podcast and good way to start off since the Ravens

making a little bit of news. General manager Eric DeCosta says, yes, he would take a quarterback

in the first round based on how their board is stacked because, hey, we've got quarterbacks in our

top 31 picks or in our top 31 of our board. So we would conceivably take a first round quarterback.

He knows what he's saying when he says something like that. He knows everyone's going to run it

through the Lamar Distortion field. What does this mean? Does this mean that Lamar is on his way

out? How do we view this? I think it's a good way to start the mock draft edition though because

I do think Lamar could potentially factor into this draft. I don't think it's completely

out of the realm of possibility that there is a team in that top five, specifically in Dean

apolis at number four, where depending on how Lamar wants to continue to approach the guaranteed

money that the Colts wouldn't look at him. If you're the Colts and Lamar changes his view

on the guaranteed money, which Jeremiah says that he doesn't believe in guaranteed, fully guaranteed

contracts, and you have that fourth pick. We'll talk about who you slotted in for the Colts at four,

but do you just make that a center? If you're looking at Lamar, you say, hey, there's a center

piece asset and what else would you then add to it to try and attract the Baltimore Ravens into

a trade scenario? I mean, yeah, definitely be in for it, especially looking across the division

and seeing Trevor Lawrence. I would like to at least have a talent that can compete with that.

The first game between Trevor and Lamar last year was crazy. I think you saw why people are excited

to have both of those guys as their quarterback, but when you look at this draft, these guys

are good, but Lamar is still a young prospect in his own right. He already has success at the NFL
