0:14.7	This is a short story of Princess Moana.
0:18.7	Once upon a time, there lived a little beautiful girl named Moana in Motunui
0:24.9	Island. Even when she was little, she loved the ocean. She also loved listening to Grandma
0:32.0	Taylor's stories. Moana's favorite was about the trickster demigod, Maui, who stole the heart of the mother island, Tafiti.
0:41.3	According to Grandma, Maui upset the balance of nature by stealing the heart.
0:46.3	Moana's dad, Chief Tui, believed the ocean was dangerous.
0:51.3	The islanders were forbidden to sail beyond the reef. But little Moana
0:56.3	felt a deep connection to the ocean and to all the creatures who belonged in it. She always
1:02.8	wanted to help, and the ocean noticed, and it gave Moana a special gift. When Chief Toey picked

1:17.6	She believed that the ocean's gift was the heart of Tafiti.
1:22.6	As Moana grew, she worked hard to help lead her people and follow her father's rules.
1:29.3	But when Moana turned 16, Grandma Tala took her aside.
1:33.3	It's time to learn who you were meant to be, Grandma said.
1:38.3	She led Moana to a hidden cavern full of ancient canoes.
1:42.3	When Moana started drumming,
