A day after Drew Brees breaks a big record there,

pulled by Peyton Manning for the most passing yards NFL history.

So fun Monday night game there last night, Buck.

Did you get a chance to see it?

I did get a chance.

I mean, he was just throwing it all over the yard.

He was having his way with the Redskins.

So fantastic accomplishment.

Drew Breeze was in the first class that I scouted because that's the Michael Vick draft.

And I just remember, man, the standards in terms of how we evaluated quarterbacks back

then, anyone close to six foot or under, you really couldn't give a big grade to.

So for all the things that Drew Breeze accomplished at Purdue, the highest we could go was

the second round grade. And so now to, the highest we could go was the second round

grade. And so now to see the league, I mean, almost 20 years later, Baker Mayfield is the number

one overall pick. Drew Breeze is the all-time leading passer. I wonder going into next year's

draft if we began to kind of wipe away those standards and measurements that we kind of made as the Mendoza line for quarterbacks,

if we wiped that away because now the most prolific passer in football is a guy that is at the borderline when it comes to the six feet mark.

And we used to say, okay, well, that Drew Breed is an anomaly.
