It was the fairy tale ending on the biggest stage for Lionel Messi as he delivered the

third welcome in Argentina's history.

Dion Dublin, Nader Manoeu, and Matthew Upsen are all with us and Dion for many people of

many different ages, that will be the greatest World Cup final that they can remember.

Yeah, and I don't think you'll ever see anything like again in any final to score a hatch

or it will to score four, albeit one of them in a penalty shootout is just unheard of and

lose and come out on the losing side.

The quality of the football within the last 20 minutes of 90 of the 90 and then the

half an hour and the penalties, it wasn't a great game.

It was a 25 minutes in, 70 minutes in, it wasn't a great game at all.

But that's 20 minutes at the end of the 90, the half an hour.

Those two players and Bappi just, you know, he's prune each came out and he thought we

were out, I've got to do something and Messi did what he did.

But it comes with a lot of cameos, Steve, it comes with a lot of players that, you know,

in the background allow those two superstars to do what they've got to do, to walk about

the pitch, do what they want because they are that good.

There's a lot of, there's a lot of co-stars there as well.

It's really strange, Matt, to have a final like that when actually all the pre-match narratives

that were lined up by everybody ourselves included all seem to come to the fore because
