Now, in college, I was not a business major.

I kind of majored in Mad Magazine, and it worked out good, considering what I do.

But I read something in Inc. Magazine that was absolutely so on the money, especially if you're a young person starting out and you want to be successful.

And it comes from Warren Buffett, perhaps the greatest investor in American stock markets.

So Berkshire Hathaway is his company.

And at a shareholder meeting, a young person was there, a teenager.

And the teenager asked the billionaire, what advice he would give a young person who would

want to become successful.

This was Warren Buffett's response.

It's better to hang out with people better than you.

Pick out associates whose behavior is better than yours and you'll drift in the right direction.

Number two, if you become a manager, never hire someone without integrity, no matter how smart

they are. Because if you're hiring somebody with integrity, you never have to worry about their

actions or whether they're hiding something from anyone. That's brilliant. Hang out with

people who are... But you know what? It doesn't always happen because all four of us worked for a company that brought in a top level hire

of a person that they knew was bad news.
