Well, welcome to the Monday Minute. This is part of the Huntback Country podcast and as you may know

on the Monday Minute, we kind of step aside from a full episode and talk about really anything.

Something timely, something new, answer or listen or question, the format can change for sure.

And this episode is no exception. I will not talk in with Steve today, my co-host, but actually

interviewing a guy named Gabriel about a product that I worked with him on. That was pretty cool.

He contacted me out of the blue last summer and just kind of asked if I had ever looked at

pack holsters, you know, for a sidearm that worked on our hip belt and clearly I had, I had tried

a ton of different models and he had some ideas for what he thought might work,

particularly well just for a pack. So there's holsters for concealed carry, there's

holsters for recreational shooting, holsters for competition shooting, but those are not

designed to work for a pack in a hunting scenario. And so long story short is over the past five,

six months, something like that. We've been working through finding a holster that works

ideally well for our pack system. And we talk a little bit about that today. The holsters are

available today just so you guys know in terms of like exo-mountain gear, we make zero pennies off

of any purchase. If you decide to make one, we don't have any formal business relationship. So this

isn't us pushing a product so we can make some money. This is just us going, hey, here's a really good

holster option. If you want to carry a sidearm on your pack really well and have a holster that's

specifically designed for pack use and not just something that works, but something that works well.

So yeah, we talk about the development, we talk about some of the different features that this

holster has certain design elements that make it work well with the pack and really just talk to

Gabriel. He's a one-man shop as you'll hear and it's really, really neat to see him build every
