Well, Steve, welcome to the Monday Minute, although it is Sunday evening.

Yeah, just got done eating some delicious Elk steak that I rubbed in your face because

you didn't get to kill an elk this year.

A good elk.

My kids, that came from, I think when we had Jeff Bloomquist on her, buddy, he talked about

saltine. So I just took it out. It was box traps off the bowl. I killed an October.

Took him out, let him, but probably about an hour before I cooked, I cooked him at 530,

so about 430. I took him out, put some just a good heavy dose of sea salt on both sides

of it, rubbed it in, and then let it sit there for an hour, added some pepper, and then

it's cooked in on the cast iron skillet on the stove in the kitchen. And my kids like

devoured it, my wife devoured it, and that's just absolutely fantastic. Certainly a super easy,

delicious way to cook them up.
