And another player that could be even farther away and was picked, I think, on the 11th round,

they paid a fortune in the Verlanda transaction over $50 million.

The Mets paid upwards of almost $90 million in unloading,

Scherza and Verlander for two prospects.

I mean, it's insanity, to be honest with you, but money comes cheap to the Mets, and they keep

proving that.
