more on October as the official month of Drew McGarry? Yeah, well, I mean, look, my birthdays

this month, but that kind of doesn't have anything to do with it because sure it doesn't.

I'm turning 49. No one, no one gives a fuck about that. Like, you get to my age and it's like,

once you hit like a, it's like 50, 60, you know, whatever retirement age is now, like,

those are like, those are the landmarks, but turning 49, no one gives a rat's ass.

What matters is there's nice crisp fall weather, beautiful foliage, although the foliage

where I live is, it's not of the, you know, of the New England

caliber.

Yeah.

Football, of course.

And, and, and playoff baseball.

And we are way overdue to do a, uh, a, here's here to the major league baseball.

How many words are we working with on that preview? Before Barry's added it, like 8,000. Super. That's great. Naturally, you know, like when you're writing on a blog site, you just want to dump 8,000 words on people the morning of a season. That's, that's absolutely the way to go. We get a lot of emails from readers and they're like, I love reading your blogs on my phone, but I need them to be above 6,000 words if I'm going to really get anything out of it. Lauren's here to help us preview the Major League Baseball playoffs. We're a little bit late. They got underway on Tuesday. And, uh, I know, what's this?

The first game yesterday featured Lauren's Tigers beating the Guardians on the road. Wow.

Yeah, very exciting. It was like their first win in like three months, basically. Tiggers

backed into the playoffs, but, uh, I don't know. I mean, it's weird to record this like right before they start playing again, because when people listen to it, who knows how much they've crashed in the hours since. But right now, I'm feeling really good. This is the initial, to take everybody behind the scenes for a moment. I asked Lauren if she wanted to come on and preview it with us. And she was like, I'd love to. I think it's going to conflict with the Tigers game, though, so I don't think I can. I'm having to be like, no, or starts at noon. It's literally like an hour before.
