What is up, everyone? Welcome to the edition of the Morning Grind. I am Grant Nefer. I'm taking over for Stevie. He is still on vacation. He'll still be on vacation tomorrow just in case you're worried. You're stuck with me again. But that doesn't matter. We got a nice little eight game slate and three games slate. We're going to be breaking down both of them. I am joined by

I thought it was. I always get so confused if I'm going to say someone's last names, right?

I know. I always go off of screen names. I have so many people in this industry. I still have no idea what their actual names are.

But yeah, how are you doing? I'm doing good. Yeah. Good to do the show with you. It's been a while since,

I guess we haven't ever done a morning grind one. So it'll be good to break down the slate with you.

Yeah, well, we got technically two of them. We'll probably cruise through the three-game slate, but we've got an eight-game slate to start off. You're ready to get going? Let's do it. All right,

let's start off with the first game of the slate. It appears it's going to be a seven-game

slate. We're recording this the night before. So just the news came out about an hour ago or so

that it's going to be a double-header tomorrow for the Mets, but they look like their

first games on the slate and it's probably going to be a seven inning game. So we'll just go

ahead and get started with that. We got Fed going up against Williams, eight and a half total.

That could end up dropping down because it is the sevennings game now. But we'll get to start

off of Fed here. Any interest to him going up against the Mets? No, I don't. You know, I mean, it's a seven-a-eating game, like we said, but even if it was

different, I just don't have a lot of interest. And in a guy like him, he has a high ERA,

5.15 ERA. You know, he, yeah, he just struggles too much for me. There's a lot of other good pitchers on the slate to consider.
