Fill in for Nick Costos and Ken Barkley on this Wednesday. All right, Kate. We talked about the AL East, the

NL Central last segment. Let's look at the AL West now. Obviously reigning World Series champions, Houston Astros are in the AL West.

They're three games back right now of the Texas Rangers, though. They're not even in second place. The Angels are two and a half games back of the Rangers.

And then the Mariners are 13 and 16 and then the athletics, bringing up the rear at six and 24 Astros still heavy favorites, though, to win this division. You still like the Astros, Kate at minus 160.

Or do you see some value elsewhere, whether it be the Rangers, the Mariners or the Angels?

Now, I probably look at the Rangers. I mean, I know DeGrom is on the IL, but he's had a fantastic start to the season. The rest of their pitching staff, not terrible either.

I would love for the Angels to continue to be good and to win games. I just am not sure that their team you really want to count on or put any of your money on.

I mean, outside of Otani and Trout, is there anyone that really peaks your interest or gets you excited about betting on that team? I'm not sure.

Mariners, no, have no interest in them. And then the A's absolutely not zero interest in betting on Oakland this season. So I would have to say their answers.

500 to one on the athletics to win the ALS. If that's something that, you know, you want to get behind. If somehow Ricky Henderson walks through that door and, you know, Jason Gianbi walks through that door.

The World Series of the division winning team at the ALS wins it. That's plus 375 right now. You brought up the Mariners. I actually think they still fascinated me at plus 600.

For whatever reason this team just continues to get off to slow starts. We saw it last year. Then they went on that big winning streak and that kind of propelled them to finally breaking that drought and making it to the playoffs.

But I still like the Astros to win the division. The Rangers. I just I can't trust to Graham and their pitchers to stay healthy.

Sears banged up right now. And I still think the bottom part of that order is not very good. The Angels, like you said, we've just, you know, I'm done trying to believe and have hope that they're going to build something around trout no tiny.

So for me, it's still the Astros and it's still the Mariners. I think plus 600 on Seattle is is a pretty decent price considering that there are only five games back right now on the division.

But with that being said, Houston's got off to a slow start. Al Tuve is coming back here shortly. So there, there's still the team to beat for me in that division at minus 160.

Jacob saw him. What about for you? Is the ALS still the Houston Astros invitational or do you like somebody else in the division?

Yeah, I mean, the Astros have completely surprised me. We know that they lost Justin Verlander and you know, we know that this team isn't the same and they didn't start the year with Jose Al Tuve.

He still isn't a timetable to come back from his injury either. So we knew this wouldn't be the same team. I thought they were talented enough to still be able to be a good team and be salary above 500.

They've completely surprised me in how inadequate they've been. They lost the Giants again today. And I just am not confident in this team to be able to get it done at this point.

And you know, I don't think they'll finish third. I think they could leapfrog the angels. But the Rangers, I'm super impressed. They had a plan going into the off season.
