You know, a lot of what we found in the 2006 report still holds.

But before her career as a researcher,

she was a college student student majoring in Spanish.

My parents were supporting my tuition, but I was, you know, had to earn money to support myself.

So one of the things I was doing was tutoring multilingual learners in Redwood City.
