An MIT professor was shot and killed in his home recently, and this may just be a tragic murder.

Maybe this professor was dating somebody with someone else on the side.

Maybe he owed someone money.

There's a million and one reasons why people commit murder, and there are more common reasons than others.

However, this professor was working on fusion technology, which has many people questioning if there was an ulterior

motive, if there was something more sinister at play. For those that aren't familiar, fusion tech is

considered to be clean energy. It's considered to be revolutionary. And if we

kick off the fusion race, it is going to be insane. The energy return and energy invested is

through the roof. It will make oil look like dirt. But we don't know exactly what this is.

And so I want to make sure I'm being very careful as a story is going massively viral and just

say, guys usually when these things happen, just because the guy was a fusion scientist

working for MIT doesn't mean he didn't have gambling debts or jilted ex-lovers or just whatever a Hatfield-McCoy style rival or maybe his family

was you know who knows who knows what I will say is this governments do assassinate corporations

do assassinate just because it sounds like a movie doesn't mean it's not possible. We know they do.

We know intelligence agencies will come after people who are seeking to disrupt the status quo.

Why? Well, it's not just because they want to stranglehold on power. It's because a rapid shift in technology can upend our economic system and create chaos and disarray.

So there are people who want to keep the machine churning, but slowly.

And then admittedly, there are powerful interests that know that fusion may be the

end for them, their companies, their employees. Think about what a government would do.

If you came to them and said, we have a new technological advancement that is going to put

the oil industry out of business. I mean, we're talking about millions upon millions upon millions of jobs.
