A few weeks ago, I was honored to be asked to play second fiddle to KCMO Talk

Radio's Pete Mundo, who is typically the MC of the Jackson County Republican Party's

Lincoln-Ragan Day Dinner, which is coming up on Saturday

night. It is 630 downtown at the Rumley Tractor event space. It's only 50 bucks to go. The U.S.

Senate candidates in Missouri will be there. The congressional candidates will be there, as will

the candidates for county executive. When Chris Cambers called me, I said, are you sure you want me? And he said, yes, we

absolutely want you. And I said, okay, it didn't take me long to decide once I was certain that they

really wanted me. It's an honor, truly an honor that I'm being asked to be emcees and host events

now for Republican Party events around the Kansas City area, truly in honor.

And I don't take that lightly. So I'd love for the opportunity to meet you on Saturday night.

He is the treasurer of the Jackson County Republican Party. He just ran for school board in Fort O'Sage,

and he works with a Missouri representative as kind of a campaign manager. He also works in the
